It can take 1-2 months after the application deadline to review and approve all applications. You can check your online account to learn the status of your application.
Receive Examination Authorisation Email
We will start sending Examination Authorisation Emails for the September 2025 IBCLC examination in July 2025 and will continue until all approved candidates have received them.
Schedule Your Examination Appointment
After receiving your authorisation email, you can schedule your examination appointment. See Key Dates below for important deadlines.
Test
The September 2025 IBCLC examination will take place from September 9 – 18, 2025.
Examination Scoring & Analysis
Post-administration analysis and scoring takes place.
Receive Results
You will receive your results for the September 2025 IBCLC examination in your online account approximately 3 months after the examination.
