NCCA Accreditation

The IBCLC certification programme is accredited by the NCCA, the accreditation body of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (I.C.E.).

The IBCLC programme first earned this valued third-party accreditation in 1987. In 2023, the programme received notice that it had earned reaccreditation which is currently valid until 2029. This reaccreditation is the first contemplating the new IBCLC Commission structure.
