Over 1,500 candidates from 53 countries sat the April 2025 IBCLC examination. We began releasing examination results to candidates in their online credential management account today.
Releasing the examination results is an intensive process; therefore, it will take approximately 72 hours to release all examination results. The examination results must be released in segments. This means you may see your results before or after someone else you know.
While results are being released, the online Public Registry will be temporarily unavailable. We anticipate that the Registry will be unavailable until approximately June 27, 2025. IBCLCs can execute the Certification Verification Form while the online registry is unavailable.
Applications for recertification/reinstatement by CERPs are also temporarily unavailable. The deadline to recertify/reinstate by CERPs is September 30, 2025. We will post when applications are once again available.
Once all results have been released, we will send an email to candidates with instructions to access their examination results and their score report online. Please know that your official result will be in your online account.
New IBCLCs and recertifying IBCLCs from the April 2025 examination will have options to verify their certification. Please review your examination results email to learn more. That email will also include information about receiving digital certificates. Please visit the IBCLC Commission website for more information on digital certificates.
| Please note: Some parts of the online credential management system must be disabled to release examination results. This will affect all IBCLCs, including those who did not sit the April 2025 IBCLC examination. Applications for recertification by CERPs are temporarily unavailable. We will post when applications are once again available. Applications to recertify by CERPs in languages other than the 10 IBCLC examination languages will remain available on your language page. As a reminder: the deadline to recertify by CERPs is September 30, 2025. If you have already applied to recertify by CERPs, you will temporarily be unable to check on the status of your application. For all IBCLCs: You will temporarily be unable to check your credential status in the online credential management system or in the online Public Registry. IBCLCs can execute the Certification Verification Form while the online registry is unavailable. Please contact your regional location if you need assistance checking your credential or recertification by CERPs application status. Access to all parts of the online credential management system will be restored when we have completed releasing examination results. We will share here and on social media when everything is once again available. |
